Every class moves your rider closer to real, independent riding. No prior experience needed, our coaches guide every rider through a badge-based curriculum, from first time on the beach to riding independently.
Progress is tracked badge by badge, so you always know exactly where your rider stands, not just how the season went.
Parents can feel confident knowing their children are coached by experienced, certified instructors. Every session is conducted under direct supervision with proper safety equipment, including helmets and impact vests.
Academy is based at PADL Wind Club at Crandon Park, where classes take place weekly.

PADL operates some of South Florida’s most recognized outdoor recreation venues. Academy gives kids access to real wind sports in a real environment, not a pool or a parking lot. Every week is another step toward independent riding, and another reason to put the screen down.
Our goal is simple: help kids connect with the wind, build confidence, and earn every skill they walk away with.
Wind sports depend on wind, and some days just won’t have enough. On those days, class doesn’t cancel, it shifts. Riders spend the session building water skills that carry over directly to kiting and winging, including paddleboarding and kayaking. From time to time, low-wind days also become field trip days, giving riders a chance to try sailing, windsurfing, and mountain biking at other PADL locations. Every activity is supervised by our coaching staff and included as part of the program.
Class days are limited to 6 kids and fill quickly.
