Philippe Park is a Pinellas County Park located in Safety Harbor, Florida. This historically rich park was established in 1948, making it the oldest park in the county! The 122-acre park is shaded by large oaks and hardwood trees offering many picnic tables, a view of Old Tampa Bay, a 1 mile shoreline, a boat launching facility, fishing, and play areas.
Other amenities include beaches and kayak, canoe, and paddle board launches – specifically PADL’s renown rental station allowing visitors and locals to get out on the water whenever they want (within park hours). Several activities during a rental in this special location can include going for a morning paddle ride to meditate, an afternoon yoga paddle session, or just a nice rental ride for exercise.
